NextPed is a FiveM resource that turns ambient peds into persistent characters. It scans nearby NPCs, creates profiles with name, gender, origin, profession, personality, mood, and friendship level, then reuses those profiles when a compatible ped appears in the same region.

In practice, it gives NPCs a form of memory: players can build relationships with peds, view their history, talk to them, gain or lose friendship, record first impressions, and browse known peds by region through a NUI interface.

It also supports 3D name labels, ox_target profile interaction, database persistence through oxmysql, personality-based behavior, ambient speech, donations, robberies, witnesses, helping knocked-out peds, and friendship-gated actions.

In short, NextPed makes ordinary NPCs feel more alive, recognizable, and connected to the server’s gameplay.
